IChing Tarot is a simple tool that attempts to correlate your tarot reading with the corresponding I Ching hexagram. This program describes in detail the characteristics of the different tarot cards associated with the I Ching hexagram result.
I Ching is advocates the idea of change. It also makes one understand the relationship between opposites. This is represented by Yang and Yin. Yang corresponds to creative, active, expansive force. Yin corresponds to receptive, mutable, contracting form. Both need to be balanced for a relationship to be harmonious. Yang is represented by the unbroken line ( ---------) and yin is represented by the broken line ( ---- ----)

Tarot cards have been used for fortune telling for ages and have remained popular ever since. They are seen as a means of getting in touch with the spiritual world. The most commonly used and easy to understand deck is the Rider-Waite Deck. The Tarot deck comprises of Major Arcana consisting of 22 cards and the Minor Arcana consisting of 56 cards. The cards of the Minor Arcana belong to four suits namely the wands, cups, pentacles and swords. The cards are not only related to the picture on the cards, but also have links to elements, astrological signs, and characters of certain alphabet as well.
Each tarot reading comprises of a particular spread or arrangement of cards. Some of the popular spreads used in Tarot Reading are: Celtic Cross Spread, One Card Spread, Two Card Spread, Three Card Spread, Eliphas Levy Wheel Spread (guiley), Line Spread, Seven Card Chakra Spread and the Four Seasons Spread. Different spreads are used to read for different situations. The user can also choose to have cards from the Major Arcana or Minor Arcana or both in his reading. The cards may be upright or reversed.
